Whether you are advertising a product or service, you have to prepare for any inquiries that a person may make. Making it difficult for people to reach you in the first place will likely affect your bottom line due to the possibility of people doubting the legitimacy of your offerings. But does mean that you should go out of your way and create a dedicated support page or perhaps a knowledge base that visitors can head to if they need to get questions answered? Not yet if you are just getting started.
Providing that you are using a blog platform or CMS, the commenting system should suffice as a quick way for people to ask questions. You just have to encourage them to comment as they may think that the admins never pay attention to the comments. Be sure to add some sort of CAPTCHA plugin to prevent spam bots from posting malicious advertisements.
To add some legitimacy to your site, you should also create some social media profiles to make it even easier for people to contact you if they are members of those sites. Start with Facebook and Twitter and move on to other places like Google+ if necessary. The nice thing about Facebook is that you create a separate Facebook page which people can post to or message privately. Encouraging public posts allow other visitors to see that you are indeed dedicated to addressing people’s queries.
Because people are used to seeing “Contact Us” sections on sites and blogs, you should have a dedicated page for that anyway. Include things like the links to all of your social networking profiles and a support email address just to have all the basic options covered. Once you notice more people checking out your site, you can start building a more dedicated support center where admins and members alike can help each other on matters.
